Bont Elim Community Church 'Beulah' extends a warm welcome to everyone, whatever your background, wherever you're from and whatever you believe! If you're one of the many people that have only attended church for christenings, weddings and funerals, then you've come to the right page to find out more about us. If you're a Christian and already attend church then you may want to look into what we believe. Our passion is to present the truth of the Christian message in a way that connects with everyone from every walk of life.

We have three services on a Sunday -

Communion service (and Sunday's Cool in the children's wing) @ 10.30am;
Traditional Gospel service @ 4.00pm;
Youth Revolution - youth fellowship @ 6.00pm.

Before you come along you may want to know what to expect, so here are some frequently asked questions:

Do I need to be a member?
No, anyone can come to Bont Elim. You don't have to be a Christian, a member or anything else for that matter. You can come as you are, and believe what you want. It is our prayer that as you engage with us that many of your questions about life, God and Christianity will be answered. If at a later stage you would like to make Bont Elim your spiritual home then we will be glad to talk with you about membership.

What should I wear?
Anything you are comfortable in, some people turn up in shorts and a t -shirt, whilst others wear trousers and a shirt and others a suit and tie. Whatever you'd wear normally, wear that when you come.

How old are people in your church?
Ages vary from a few months to people in their 80's. The average age is around 40.

Do I have to pray, sing or take part?
Not unless you want to. Our Sunday church services usually have singing, praying, a speaker and some media content (video or audio or both). You can listen or join in, It's up to you. You definitely won't be asked to pray or stand out the front, or feel uncomfortable in any way.

What is the singing like?
Our music is a mix of contemporary styles and some hymns; in our traditional service at 4.00pm we sing mainly hymns from the hymn books accompanied by the piano - in our Sunday morning services the music is projected onto the big screens and is much more contemporary accompanied by the keyboard and drums.

Do I have to pay?
No, we don't expect you to pay. However, there is an opportunity to give an offering at each of our services. If you'd like to give then feel free, but if not that's fine.

How long does the service last?
During our morning service we serve Communion (two weeks per month) and this service usually lasts for about an hour and a half, the young children go out to Sunday's Cool at about 10.40am. The traditional Gospel service runs from 4.00pm - 5.00pm and the "Youth revolution" meeting runs from 6.00pm until around 8.00pm. Teas and coffees are served after the 4.00pm service in the dining room and everyone is welcome to stay for a drink and a chat.
